Little Caesars Pizza : Austin Heights location

In the area, starving, and knowing better than to try some of the restaurants near by, I needed a snack before dinner and went for Little Caesars. Little Caesars is a fast food chain pizza shop and advertises on their "hot n' ready $5.50 medium pizza". Is it hard for pizza to taste good? Not really. The only complaints I ever made about pizza would be undercooked dough or if it is burnt. Other than that, the only minor issues would be an overly salty pizza or a weak tasting sauce. However, the higher price you pay for pizza, the more minor issues there are.

HOT N' READY MEDIUM PEPPERONI PIZZA ($5.50). When I got the pizza, it was cold. Was I a bit upset? Somewhat, considering that Little Caesars constantly advertises "hot n' ready". I probably could have asked for a fresh one when the man grabbed it out of the warmer, but I did not want to seem like an annoying customer, especially when the pizza only costs $5.50.

The pizza has a nice golden colour on the bottom and I can only imagine how much better it would have tasted if it was hot or even just luke warm. The dough tastes soft, pillowy and the pizza does the job. Despite the oil stains on the box, the pizza does not taste overly greasy and the amount of cheese and pepperoni is okay. Again, for $5.50 is there anything to complain about? Comparing the pizza to Domino's or Pizza Hut's, it tastes the least saltiest.

POSITIVES
- Cheap and ready to go

NEGATIVES
- Not advertised as "hot n' ready"
- There are better pizza joints

LITTLE THINGS
- Meh, does the job but I would not try it again

Food: 2.5/5
Service: N/A
