Having a late lunch and trying out a few food stalls at Aberdeen Centre, Cafe D'Lite Express was stop number one. Thinking back on it now, I probably should have tried the hainanese chicken too!

SEAFOOD LAKSA ($7.75) + COCA COLA ($1.12.

The seafood laksa has a couple of prawns, fish balls, a sliced crab stick and tofu puff. The ingredients taste pretty generic and as expected for a food stall, no mussels or fillet. Continuing along, the curry soup has a coconut flavour and a nice mild spiciness, although it is quite heavy on the MSG (even for a food court).

As for the noodles, the thick as well as thin vermicelli are perfectly cooked to order (not too mushy nor hard), and the bean sprouts provide a nice crunch. Overall, the seafood laksa is not that great but is acceptable for a food court… in a way.
TOTAL: $9.30.
